Sophisticated, Yet Customer-Friendly
Oil Filter Recyclers, Inc. (OFR) is the largest used oil-filter collector and recycler in the United States, servicing more than 10,000 customers nationwide. Our patented bulk used oil-filter collection and recycling system is sophisticated, yet customer-friendly. Customers can commingle used oil filters, fiber-based absorbents and plastic oil bottles in one bulk container for the same economical price. One hundred percent of the waste material we collect is recycled, thus eliminating your exposure to future environmental risk.
Customers receive a space-efficient 330-gallon leak-proof steel container that holds the equivalent of six 55-gallon drums or approximately 1,500 uncrushed automotive filters. The container is manufactured from 12-gauge steel and contains a patented “drip lip” that prevents liquid from running down the sides of the container. It is also equipped with a lockable lid to avoid disposal of unwanted trash.
A specially designed bulk-filter truck visits the customer’s location when the container is 85 percent full. The driver simply attaches the bulk-filter container to the patented recycling trailer and hoists the container overhead. The contents are emptied into the trailer cleanly and efficiently with no chance of spillage. The waste is then transported to OFR’s state-of-the-art recycling facility.
